Antique Art Deco Style 4 Piece Bedroom Set 1940's NICE

This 4 piece beautiful bedroom suit is made with Walnut veneer. This set appears to be from the 1940’s or 50’s. It was made by the Davis Randolph Corporation and has piece #273 on the back along with serial #3380. It is Art Deco style with a large round bevel edge mirror on the vanity. The mirror is in great condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. There are some dark spots around the edges from age. The vanity has 6 large dovetail drawers, 3 on each side. There is a center pull out section that has a mirror on it as well. The vanity is in great condition. There is a large stool to sit on that slides under the vanities center section. The stool has a nice black velvet floral upholstery on the round seat. There are 4 legs and 2 cross style stretchers. The stool is in excellent condition. The bed is a beautiful full sized headboard, rails and footboard. The wood grain on this set is gorgeous. This is a very simple yet elegant styled set. There are a couple of small chips on the foot of the footboard, they are hardly noticeable. The bed is in great condition for its age. This bed is very solid and sturdy. There are some nicks and scuffs on the top rail of the footboard and headboard. The nightstand has 3 large dovetail drawers and wooden pulls. It is in excellent condition. The chest of drawers is large and unique. There are 5 dovetail drawers. The top drawer is divided into 3 sections. The middle section has mirror that pulls up to expose the storage area underneath. The 3rd drawer on the chest is divided into 3 sections as well. The bottom drawer has a lift up lid and appears to be cedar lined for longer term storage. The top of the chest is showing a little wear but I would say the condition is excellent for its age. This set is antique and may not be perfect but overall it is in excellent condition. I do not know the exact date it was made. The entire set is very solid and sturdy with lots of life still in it. The measurements are as follows: Headboard: 38 inches tall, 56 ¾ inches side to side and 1 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 30 pounds. Footboard: 22 1/8 inches tall, 56 ¾ inches side to side and 2 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 25 pounds. Rails: 78 5/8 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches side to side and 1 5/8 inches front to back. They weighs 16 pounds. Vanity: 63 1/2 inches tall, 48 inches side to side and 19 1/4 inches front to back. It weighs 135 pounds. Chest: 51 1/4 inches tall, 36 inches side to side and 19 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 134 pounds. Nightstand: 28 1/8 inches tall, 16 1/2 inches side to side and 14 3/8 inches front to back. It weighs 39 pounds. Stool: 17 ½ inches tall, 18 inches side to side and 18 inches front to back. It weighs 11 pounds.

Vintage Cherry Wood Federal Style King Bed Set w Chest 2 Nt Stands Stool Dresser

Here we have a beautiful dark cherry wood Federal style king size bedroom suite. This suite is made up of a chest of drawers, 2 end tables, a stepping stool for the bed, a dresser and a king size bed. The bed has 4 posters and sits high. The head board is curved at the top and attaches to the sides of the posters. Each poster is topped with a cup and trumpet style finial. The chest of drawers has 7 drawers and gold tone pulls. The stepping stool has 2 steps for easier access to the tall bed. There are also 2 tall night stands with 2 drawers each and gold tone pulls. The dresser has 9 drawers and the same gold tone pulls as the rest of the set. All the drawers are dove tail construction and the chest, dresser and both night stands are topped with a piece of ¼ inch glass to protect the wood. This set is in great condition and looks as if its hardly ever been used. It is vintage and may not be perfect. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. The measurements for each piece are as follows: Chest: 55 1/8 inches tall, 40 ¼ inches side to side and 19 3/8 inches front to back. It weighs 190 pounds. End tables (each): 32 3/8 inches tall, 22 3/8 inches side to side and 17 5/8 inches front to back. Each end table weighs 42 pounds. Stool: 14 3/8 inches tall, 20 1/8 inches side to side and 17 7/8 inches front to back. It weighs 19 pounds. Dresser: 34 ½ inches tall, 56 inches side to side and 19 3/8 inches front to back. It weighs 186 pounds. King bed: 81 7/8 inches tall, 82 ¾ inches side to side and 81 5/8 inches front to back. It weighs 130 pounds.

Antique English Wardrobe 1920's Art Deco Style Walnut w Interior Bar Hooks NICE

Here we have a large walnut Art Deco style English wardrobe. The finish is smooth to the touch and it is in great condition. There is a geometric crown on top of the door. There is a black diamond inlay in the center top section of door as well. There are some scuffs and scrapes on the front of the piece from normal use over the years. There is a metal turn latch with a lock mechanism on the door, we do not have a key. Inside the door is a mirror and bar for hanging belts and ties. There is a large storage shelf at the top of the interior. There is also a bar with hooks on it for hanging garments on the inside. The piece is paneled and very sturdy. It is in great condition however it is antique and will not be perfect. The sides appear to have some surface splits and the veneer is bubbled in a couple of areas. See the photos below. I do not know the maker or exact date this piece was made. Measurements are 75 3/8 inches tall, 46 5/8 inches side to side and 18 3/8 inches front to back. It weighs 109 pounds.

Antique Jenny Lind Style Bed Head Board or Foot Board Dark Oak Good Condition

This is a dark oak Jenny Lind style bed head board. This headboard is for a standard size bed and is in good condition. The posts, crest rail and spindles are all ring turned in Jenny Lind style. The knob on top of each post is scuffed up as you can see in the photos below. The crest rail is a little scuffed too and the varnish is a little thin, however the wood is in great shape. This head board is low so it could also be used as a foot board instead. I do not know the exact date this piece was made or who the maker is. It is antique and will not be perfect. It measures 32 ¾ inches tall, 56 ¼ inches side to side and 2 ¼ inches front to back. It weighs 16 pounds.

Antique Arts & Crafts Oak Armoire Wardrobe Single Door

We have for sale an antique Arts & Crafts oak single door wardrobe. The door opens to a storage area with 2 wood shelves. There is a dove tail drawer in the base of the armoire. There is a label, it reads MACEY 910. The sides and back hare paneled. On the front edge there are cut grooves the full length. The cabinet has a key. It is all original and in great condition. It is an antique, it will not be perfect. We have plenty of pictures to view. We do not know the date it was made. It is 77 inches tall by 37 3/16 inches from side to side by 18 inches from front to back and weighs 102 pounds.

Antique Eastlake Style Dark Walnut Dresser w 2 Glove Boxes & Lamp Shelves NICE

Here we have a beautiful antique Eastlake style dresser made of dark walnut. This piece has burled walnut accents and a marble top area. The mirror is surrounded by burled veneer however it is splitting and cracking on both sides of the mirror. There is a small lamp shelf on each side of the mirror as well. The mirror appears to be original; it has some freckling and fogging as old mirrors do. There are 2 dovetail glove boxes on top of the dresser. There are some ring stains, scars and burn marks on the glove box tops. The marble is brown and cream and is smooth and polished looking. There are 3 large drawers in the base of the dresser and they slide in and out with ease. The front of each drawer has ribbed trim. The dresser sits on 4 casters. The overall condition is great on this piece. It is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know who made it or the exact date it was made. The dresser with marble measure 38 5/8 inches tall, 38 5/8 inches side to side and 17 ½ inches front to back. It weighs 82 pounds. The mirror measures 42 3/16 inches tall, 32 inches side to side and 5 5/8 inches front to back. It weighs 23 pounds.

Antique Ornate French Empire Style Armoire w Oak Inlay Pattern & Burled Wood

Here we have a very ornate extra large armoire. This beautiful piece has been intricately designed with inlay and burled wood veneers. There are 3 tall doors, the patterns on the 2 outer doors add so much character to this armoire. The center door is covered in a huge arched beveled mirror that appears to be original. The mirror has some fogging and dark spots, very typical of a piece this old. There are no breaks, chips or cracks in the mirror that I can see. All the doors have key holes, however we do not have a key. There are 4 brass capped feet supporting the front and 2 feet supporting the back. Molded brass trim adorns the crest above the doors and the corners around the arched mirror top. The center cabinet has a bar in the top for hanging items. There are shelves in the side doors and lots of room for more shelves to be added. The center hinge on the right door is broken and the side panel has bowed a little because of it. There are several pieces of inlay missing from the design on each of the outer doors and the veneer is so old it has cracked and split in many areas. Overall this piece is in nice condition, it just needs a little tlc. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This armoire weighs 450 pounds.

Extra Nice Davis Cabinet Co Lillian Russell 5 Pc Bedroom Set Rare in Am Walnut

This is a very nice almost mint condition 5 piece Lillian Russell style bedroom set by Davis Cabinet Co of Nashville, Tn. This set is made up of 2 twin size beds, night stand, chest of drawers and dresser with mirror. These pieces are made of American walnut which is an unusual find. This set is dated October 1966. All the drawers have dovetail craftsmanship and all the pulls are the grape and leaf cup style pulls. The dresser has a large swivel mirror attached to the top. The mirror is in excellent condition with no spots, fogging, breaks, chips or cracks. There are 2 glove boxes on top of the dresser. The right side one has 2 very small faint scuffs on it that are smaller than a dime. There are 3 narrow drawers and 4 large drawers in this dresser. 2 of the narrow drawers have dividers and 2 of the deep drawers have dividers as well. The night stand has the original fabric label glued to the inside of the top drawer that reads "DAVIS CABINET COMPANY CRAFTSMEN OF FINE SOLID WOOD FURNITURE NASHVILLE, TNN." The top of the night stand appears to have sun bleaching on the top. It looks like there may have been something in the middle of the top to keep it from being bleached but the edges of the top are faded, see the photos below. The night stand is in great condition other than that. The 2 twin beds have Federal style headboards with tall poster style posts on each corner. The posts, headboards and footboards are ring turned. The headboards and footboards have spindles and the bed rails have wood covers. The box springs and mattresses can come with the beds at no extra charge if you want them, however it will increase the shipping charges due to the increase in weight. The beds are both in mint condition. The chest of drawers has 2 glove boxes on top of it as well. The top 2 drawers in the chest have dividers and the 2 bottom drawers are extra deep. I do not know the exact date the set was made. Measurements are: night stand; 30 5/8 inches tall, 22 1/8 inches side to side and 16 1/2 inches front to back. It weighs 58 pounds. Dresser; 74 1/2 inches tall with mirror, 60 inches side to side and 21 1/2 inches front to back. It weighs 255 pounds. They weigh 118 pounds total. 4 bedrails; 78 inches tall, 5 inches side to side and 2 inches front to back. They weigh 46 pounds total. Mirror; 35 1/2 inches tall, 43 1/4 inches side to side and 1 1/2 inches front to back. It weighs 49 pounds. Mattress sets; 74 1/2 inches tall each, 38 inches side to side each and 14 inches front to back each. They weigh 212 pounds total. The total weight for the complete set including the mattresses and box springs is 1066 pounds.
