Italy Design Montefiori Collection Open Wing Pheasant

WE have for sale a Montefiori Collection (c) Italy Design. It is of a pheasant with his wings open. It is porcelain and mounted on cherry or mahogany stand. It is very nice and attractive. It is in great condition. I do not know the exact age. It weighs 5 pounds and measures 14.125 x 9 x 7.25.

Old Black Forest Carving Of Horse-Rider- Man On Ground

We have for sale a black forest carving. This piece is very old. I do know it is every bit of 70 years old or older, but I do not know the exact age or date. We have not seen one like this. The horse is rared up with a rider on his back with a sword in his hand. There is a man laying on the ground with the horses hoofs over him. The horse has an issue with his back legs. They have cracks and also one front leg has a crack. The rider is missing a thumb along with the man on the ground. It weighs 2 pounds and measures 14 x 6 x 12.75, the rider measures 9.25 x 3.625 x 3.25, the horse on base 8 x 6 x 12.75.

Antique Metal Cowboy & Horse Sculpture on Marble Base

Here we have a very nice metal sculpture of a cowboy breaking a horse while the horse is bucking high with his tail in the air and the cowboy is holding on tight. This sculpture is in excellent condition and it sits on a black marble base that is in excellent condition as well. This is a very heavy piece and appears to be old. There are no breaks, cracks or chips in the marble base or in the sculpture. The marble base has a bevel edge. I do not know the maker or exact date this was made. It is antique and may not be perfect. It measures 17 ¼ inches tall, 11 ¾ inches side to side and 7 ½ inches front to back. It weighs 24 pounds.

NWTF "Thunder on the Mountain" Sculpture Artist Signed

You are looking at a bronze looking resin statue made exclusively for the National Wildlife Turkey Federation. There are 2 big horned bucks with their racks locked fighting for top rank on the mountain. This sculpture’s base is signed by the artist and there is a brass tag on the front of the base that reads “Thunder on the Mountain”. This statue is in mint condition with no breaks, chips or cracks. The base is black and in excellent condition as well. I do not know the exact date this was made or who made it. It is not new so it may not be perfect. Measurements are 13 7/8 inches tall, 20 1/4 inches side to side and 14 1/2 inches front to back. It weighs 15 pounds.

Antique Royal Dux Porcelain Bisque Statue RARE Pastel Non-Glazed Finish Figures

Here we have a rare and beautiful sculpture by Royal Dux. This piece is marked with the pink triangle on the underside of the base. The triangle is stamped with ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA around the triangle and inside is the acorn with the "E" inside it. This mark dates this piece in the 1900-1947 era. I believe the piece is bisque or what the Czech company called biskvit and pastel. The piece has a non-glazed finish and is white, mat and gilded on some areas. The colors appear to be not glazed, there is no glossy shine to this piece. They usually only used this process on animal figures, very seldom did they do this to human figures which is what makes this piece so rare. I have found different references on this piece, one calls it "Farmer and Wife" the other "Praying for Rain". The man is holding a spade in one hand and the lady is kneeling next to him on one knee. There are 2 bags next to them. The smaller bag in the front has the letters "D E" on it and the bigger bag in the back has "D P M" on it. I assume the D P M stands for Duxer Porzellan Manufakture, which is what the company was called at one time. This piece is in excellent condition. There is one hairline fracture in the base, see the photos below. There are no chips, cracks or breaks in the figures or the bags. This piece looks fresh from the maker even though it could be around 100 years old. The numbers cast in the bottom of the piece are 13202 58. This piece is very old and may not be perfect however it is in excellent condition. I do not know the exact date it was made. This measurements are 18 7/8 inches tall, 12 7/8 inches side to side and 18 7/8 inches front to back. It weighs 12 pounds.
