Antique Ladies Slant Top Writing Desk & Bookcase w Glass Doors Traditional Style
Here we have an antique mahogany ladies writing desk with a bookcase top. The bookcase has 3 doors; 2 of them are glass with wood cut out grids on the glass. There are adjustable shelves behind each door. The wood door has a small drawer below it. The base has a slant top drop down writing area and small drawers on each side of the writing area. Behind the slant top are cubbies and another drawer. All 4legs are ring turned. Overall this piece is in great condition for its age. The top is showing some wear, scuffs and scrapes. There is a split in the top board on the left side as well. I do not know the maker or exact date this was made. It is antique and will not be perfect. Measurements are 59 ¼ inches tall, 42 ½ inches side to side and 20 inches front to back. It weighs 132 pounds.
